TriZetto's Facets Fast4-ward Program Simplifies and
Accelerates Health Plans' Upgrade to Facets Extended Enterprise

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. – December 2, 2003 – The TriZetto Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: TZIX) today announced Facets Fast4-ward, a new program designed to help health plan customers upgrade to Facets Extended Enterprise™ (Facets e2™) more easily and quickly. Facets e2, TriZetto’s new enterprise-wide administrative system, increases automation to reduce operational costs; integrates e-commerce functionality to streamline transactions with plan members, physicians, employers and brokers; and provides business functionality to support consumer-driven requirements.

"We created this formalized upgrade assessment program in response to a number of customer requests for upgrade planning assistance," said Tony Bellomo, president of TriZetto’s software unit. "Our Facets Fast4-ward program provides analysis and detailed information about upgrade resources, time and costs, to assist our customers with their financial and manpower budgeting."

In as little as four weeks, TriZetto product consulting specialists will analyze and evaluate a health plan’s business, technical and infrastructure requirements for upgrading to Facets e2. Customers will receive a recommended approach for the upgrade that includes scheduling, project planning, resource requirements, skills assessment and cost estimates.

TriZetto is hosting a one-hour Webinar on Wednesday, December 17, 2003, to provide more details about the Facets Fast4-ward program and other upgrade tools from TriZetto. This is a free event, but advance registration is necessary at the following Web address: http://www.trizetto.com/release/webinarreg.asp.
