TriZetto to Provide Preferred Health Systems With HealthWeb Internet Platform on ASP Basis
NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. – May 16, 2001 – The TriZetto(R) Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: TZIX), announced today that it has signed an agreement to provide Preferred Health Systems of Wichita, Kan., with TriZetto's HealthWeb(R) Internet platform. HealthWeb will allow Preferred Health Systems to move numerous transactions to the Internet, including inquiries from members and providers about eligibility and coverage, medical service authorizations and referrals, and claims status. This is the first HealthWeb agreement with a customer that uses the CSC PowerMHS administrative software as its core legacy system.
